Participation
in extracurricular activities is important for
the development of a student physically, emotionally
and socially. Students are encouraged to take
part in hurling, soccer, gaelic football, chess,
basketball, badminton, table tennis.
Students may also learn traditional Irish music
and take part in debates, choir, dancing and
drama.
A counselling
and learning-support service together with career
guidance and a pastoral care programme are provided
for students.
