A Thuismitheoirí, a chairde,

Cé gur mí ghearr í Feabhra, beidh neart tacaíochta ag teastáil ó mhuintir na hIdirbhliana chun tabhairt faoin méid a bhéas ar siúl!

Tá seisiún eile den chúrsa cinnireachta FEACHTAS ar siúl inniu an 31ú Eanáir.ú agus 8ú Feabhra – Scrúdú ilchlisteachta DATSú Feabhra – Cóisir na bPancóg ar son Ospidéal na bPáistí, Tamhlachttuarisic ag dul abhaile faoin dul chun cinn ón Nollaig ag an sos lárthéarma a leanann ón 13ú go dtí an 17ú Feabhra.
Díreach ina dhiaidh ón 20/2 go dtí an 2/3 beidh siad ag tabhairt faoin taithí oibre coicíse. Tugtar gach tacaíocht ar scoil dóibh post a lorg ach táimid ag brath ar chumarsáid uaibhse freisin chun a dheimhniú go mbeidh taithí fhiúntach acu. Muna bhfuil post faighte, beidh taithí oibre le bliain 5 ar siúl anseo sa scoil ar feadh coicíse.leis na cúrsa CLG agus ALPHA agus na tráthnóntaí in Ionad Pobail N Dominic.

Although February is a short month there is lots to do and the TY students need your support to organise themselves.
There is another FEACHTAS youth leadership session on this afternoon.the 7/8 February the DATS multiple intelligence tests take place. It is very important that your student participates in these tests as they inform life choices for the Leaving Cert.Feb – Pancake Party in aid of Tallaght Children’s Hospital.progress report is going home at the mid-term break (13-17 Feb) to let you know how things have progressed since Christmas. Feel free to email/ ring/ write a note with any feedback and confirmation that you have received same.

Straight after the mid-term break the students start their third and final session of work-experience, which lasts a fortnight in one placement. They are given every support on school to set about finding a job but we are depending on your help and communication if there are any difficulties. If no job has been found, students will be doing academic experience in with the 5 years.GAA and ALPHA courses and the afternoon homework club in Dominic’s Community centre will continue.
